PRIVACY POLICY
How we handle your information
This Privacy Policy applies to IULASAP.com and its related reader-resource, partnership and scheduling experiences. “IUL ASAP,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to the IUL ASAP website team and Shirley Luu & Associates personnel acting on its behalf.
This website policy does not replace a separate privacy notice, application notice or authorization provided in connection with an insurance product or professional service. Information collected during an application, underwriting, policy-service or client process may be subject to additional notices from a licensed professional, insurance carrier or other provider. The more specific notice controls for that information.
Information we collect
- Reader-resource requests. The bonus-chapter and Chapter 1 audio forms collect your name, email address, requested resource, consent choice, submission time and limited technical data used for security and abuse prevention.
- Partnership inquiries. The partnership form collects contact details, organization or group information, audience size, interests, referral source and the message you provide.
- Scheduling information. Calendly may collect contact, appointment and technical information when you use an embedded or linked scheduling experience.
- Email activity. Resend processes delivery status, clicks, unsubscribes and related technical events needed to send and improve communications. Open tracking is not enabled.
- Technical and usage information. Hosting, security and analytics providers may process IP address, browser or device characteristics, referring pages, pages viewed, timestamps, interactions and approximate location derived from an IP address.
- Information you provide directly. This may include questions, corrections, privacy requests or other information you send by email, telephone or another authorized channel.
How we use information
We may use information to deliver a requested chapter or audio resource; send financial education and book updates covered by the consent shown at collection; respond to partnership or consultation inquiries; schedule and provide requested conversations; understand website and campaign performance; maintain records; secure and improve the website; prevent fraud or misuse; satisfy legal, regulatory and contractual obligations; and protect rights, safety and property.
Submitting information does not require us to accept an engagement, enter a partnership, recommend a product or establish any professional relationship.
When information may be disclosed
Information may be disclosed to authorized IUL ASAP and Shirley Luu & Associates personnel and to service providers supporting hosting, security, analytics, database storage, communications and scheduling. Information may also be disclosed when you direct or authorize it; when reasonably needed to provide a service you request; to comply with law or a valid legal process; to investigate misuse or protect rights and safety; or in connection with a legitimate business reorganization subject to appropriate protections.
We do not currently sell personal information. Advertising pixels and audience-retargeting tools are not active as of the effective date. Before activating them, we will update this policy and implement any notice, consent or opt-out controls required for the intended use.
Email choices
Some reader-resource forms include consent to receive occasional financial education, book news and related updates. Each marketing email will provide an unsubscribe method. A request to stop marketing does not prevent service or transactional messages needed to deliver a resource you requested or respond to an active inquiry.
Cookies, local storage and third-party tools
The website and its providers may use cookies, local storage or similar technologies for security, functionality, saved motion preferences and audience measurement. Calendly provides embedded scheduling, and information entered there is also governed by Calendly’s Privacy Notice. Resend processes chapter, inquiry and email delivery activity subject to our service arrangement and Resend’s Privacy Policy. Hello Audio hosts the private Chapter 1 feed and processes listening and podcast-subscription activity under Hello Audio’s Privacy Policy.
Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including resource delivery, inquiry follow-up, consent records, security, recordkeeping, dispute resolution and legal or regulatory requirements. Retention periods vary by information type and context. We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards, but no website, transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and privacy requests
You may ask to access, correct or delete information you submitted through this website, withdraw applicable consent, unsubscribe from marketing, or ask a privacy question. Depending on where you live and whether an applicable law covers the information and organization involved, additional rights may apply. We may need to verify your identity and request before acting and may retain information when permitted or required by law.
Children
This website is intended for adults in the United States and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may contact us to request its deletion.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website, providers, services or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be posted here and, when appropriate or legally required, communicated through an additional notice.
WEBSITE DISCLOSURES
What this website does—and does not—provide
General education, not individualized advice
Website content, books, audio, videos, illustrations, examples and answers to general questions are provided for educational and informational purposes only. They are not individualized financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting or estate-planning advice and should not be relied upon as a recommendation or prediction.
Nothing on this website creates a client, advisory, fiduciary, agency, employment or other professional relationship. A personalized recommendation, if any, would occur only after an appropriately licensed professional reviews relevant information about your needs, objectives, financial situation, risk tolerance, time horizon and other circumstances.
No offer; licensing and availability
Nothing here is an offer to sell, a solicitation to buy or a guarantee that an insurance or financial product is available or appropriate. Insurance products and services may be offered only by properly licensed and appointed professionals in jurisdictions where permitted. Features, rates, eligibility, carrier availability and professional licensing vary by state and may change.
Life insurance products are not bank deposits, are not FDIC insured, are not guaranteed by a bank or any federal government agency, and may be subject to limitations, charges, restrictions and risk of loss where applicable. Guarantees rely on the financial strength and claims-paying ability of the issuing insurance company.
Indexed universal life insurance
Life insurance is designed primarily to provide a death benefit. Cash value, premium flexibility, living-benefit riders and other features depend on the policy. Indexed universal life insurance does not invest directly in a market index. Interest-crediting methods may include caps, participation rates, spreads, floors and other limitations that can change subject to the contract.
Policy charges apply. Insufficient premiums, unfavorable crediting, loans, withdrawals or other activity may reduce cash value and death benefits, require additional premiums, cause a policy to lapse or create tax consequences. A 0% index-crediting floor does not prevent cash value from declining because of policy charges or loans. Illustrations include non-guaranteed assumptions and are not promises of future performance.
Tax references
References to tax-deferred growth, tax-advantaged access or potentially tax-free income depend on policy structure, funding, ongoing qualification and individual circumstances. Loans and withdrawals reduce policy values and benefits and may create tax consequences, particularly if a policy lapses or is surrendered. Tax laws are complex and may change. Consult qualified independent tax and legal professionals before acting.
Compensation and professional relationships
When permitted and applicable, licensed professionals may receive commissions or other compensation from insurance carriers or product providers in connection with the sale or servicing of products. Available carriers, products, compensation arrangements and professional appointments may differ. Ask the licensed professional for product-specific information.
Rankings, ratings, reviews and testimonials
Amazon rankings, rating counts and category positions can change and are presented with an observation or verification date when available. Reader-review excerpts and testimonials reflect individual opinions, may not represent every reader’s experience, and do not guarantee financial or product results. Amazon, Audible and other third-party marks belong to their respective owners.
Third-party websites and services
Links and embedded tools may lead to services operated by third parties, including Calendly, Amazon, Audible and email-delivery providers. We do not control their availability, security, content or privacy practices. A link does not necessarily imply endorsement. Review the third party’s terms and privacy notice before providing information.
Accuracy and availability
We seek to provide useful and accurate information, but content may become outdated and may contain errors or omissions. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in this paragraph limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise indicated, website text, design, graphics, logos, audio and original materials are owned by or licensed to their respective IUL ASAP rights holders and may not be copied, republished or used commercially without permission. Product names and third-party marks belong to their respective owners.
ACCESSIBILITY
Access should be clear for everyone
We aim to make IULASAP.com usable by people with a wide range of abilities, devices and assistive technologies. Accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a claim of perfect or certified conformance.
If you encounter a barrier or need information in another format, contact us and describe the page, feature or material involved. We will make reasonable efforts to provide assistance or an accessible alternative.
